• Welcome Bill Richardson

    It is my great pleasure to announce Bill Richardson as our new General Manager. We look forward to Bill coming on board on December 9th, and will be working with Ann until her retirement at the end of the year. Bill brings with him lots of Aloha and 9 years experience in residential management. His last position at One Ala Moana in Honolulu, a luxury high-rise project, where his skills in working with owners, employees and board members allowed him to quickly advance from an Operations Manager position to that of General Manager. Bill also has also worked in law enforcement, both in Honolulu and in western Washington.

  • North Tennis Courts postponed until April 2020

    Aloha Owners, Due to difficulties with obtaining the proper documentation to begin this project, and the time of the year. We have chosen to put off this project until April of 2020, so as not to bother owners and guests during the high season. Please contact me if you have any questions about this. Mahalo

The website is the best place to keep up-to-date and make sure that you never miss out on things that might affect your enjoyment of your property. Also there is a link on the website to view live the beach from a camera mounted on the E building! Enjoy.

  • Lanai Maintenance

    The maintenance team of Makena Surf will be going through each unit and checking the caulking on the glass lanai railings, caulking as necessary. Please contact the manager if you have any questions about this.Makena Surf – Makai lanai owner maintenance1. Keep drain pans and drainscleared and clean at all times.2. Regularly inspect grout lines –re-grout as necessary.3. Check for gaps in lanai railingsand notify the association office ifattention is necessary.4. Check lanai door tracks forpoints of entrance along edges.5. Check all perimeter areas fornecessary caulking or grouting.6. Every 5 – 10 years have yourlanai and drain pan inspected by aprofessional for overallwaterproofing.

  • Whats happening at Makena Surf AOAO this summer?

    Soon you will notice improvements taking place at Makena Surf as approved in the 2019 Budget: The stucco on the south tennis courts is being removed and replaced. The tennis courts on the south side will be closed for construction the first 3 weeks of July. Glass railings will be installed on the A building so it matches the rest of the buildings. This could happen next year if we are unable to procure a contractor. We are now awaiting specifications to have this built. We will inform owner and agents when we schedule this.   • EV Charging station Installation South Side of Makena Surf!

    Aloha Owners, Good news! We are installing another Electric Vehicle charging station on the South Side of the property in front of the C building as approved by the owners in 2016. Contact Ann Shipman if you would like information on how you can have access to the charging station. Now owners and guests that wish to purchase or rent an electric vehicle will have the convenience of a charging station on site! The station will be up and running by July 1, 2019.
