    Parking lots are finished!! They look great. This was a difficult shuffle, we had over 15 stored cars on property,most needed jumps, some needed key batteries, all had to be moved a total of 4 times because of the parking lots shifting and striping.  But we prevailed and saved $4k getting the seal coat done in two days rather than three! All security cameras are up now including Fitness center.  Worked with Hawaii Inspection Group on the new updated Reserve Study and it is now completed.  If you would like me to e mail you a copy please let me know.   • Change in Fiscal Management!

    After much consideration the Board of Directors has chosen a new fiscal managing  agent, effective November 1, 2018, Associa Hawai’i.  Associa’s Maui office, located in Kihei about 20 minutes from Makena Surf, is staffed by some of the best and brightest professionals in the industry.  They are all eager to serve the very prestigious Makena Surf Ohana.  If you ever need any help from Associa, contact Lisa Cano at 808-629-7174 – she is our property manager.  You should have all heard from them by now and changed your payment information over to them.  Please contact me, Ann, if you have any questions or need help with anything.  

  • Update on Lane Preparations

    The Makena Surf team has been working diligently this week to prepare the Makena Surf property the best we possibly can for the incoming Hurricane.  All furniture and nick knacks on lanais have been placed inside units, all the common area furniture has been tied down, we have removed or tied down anything in the tennis courts that is loose and basically made sure there are not objects that could become a projectile during the storm anywhere on the property.  Thank you all for your kind wishes and prayers during this unusual and sometimes scary time.
